Refund Policy

SEASON PASSES

Powder Mountain season passes are non-transferable and non-refundable.

In the event of a medical situation which prevents a passholder from utilizing their season pass, a prorated refund may be given in the form of resort credit.  To be eligible for a medical refund, the guest must provide a letter from a professional medical provider indicating the passholder is unable to ski or snowboard for the season the pass is valid.  If approved, the passholder will receive a prorated refund based on the number of days the season pass has been scanned.  Refund requests must be received by January 31 of the current season. The prorated rate for credit is calculated based on the maximum daily rate for lift tickets during the current season.

TICKETS

Powder Mountain lift tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.  No refunds and/or credits will be issued if the resort is open on the day of the scheduled visit.

If the resort is not open due to any reason on the date of the scheduled visit, Powder Mountain will provide a complimentary date change for the lift ticket to be used a different day within the current season or will apply the value of the guest’s purchase to a future visit within the same season in the form of a resort credit.

If the guest is unable to travel due to government or municipal restrictions, but the resort is open, Powder Mountain will apply the value of the guest’s purchase to a future visit within the same season in the form of resort credit minus a change fee.  If the date of the new visit has a higher price point than the original purchase, then the guest is required to pay the upgrade in price.  Conversely, if the price point is less expensive, the guest will be refunded the difference in price in the form of resort credit.

If the guest modifies their reservation date prior to midnight before the scheduled visit, they may change their ticket date fora fee.  If the date of the new visit has a higher price point than the original purchase, then the guest is required to pay the upgrade in price in addition to the change fee.  Conversely, if the lift ticket is less expensive, the guest will be refunded the difference in price in the form of resort credit, however, the change fee is still incurred.

If cancellation is received more than (60) days prior to check-in date, we will refund 100% of the sums paid, less a $50.00 cancellation fee. Cancellations received within 59-30 days will be refunded 50% of the sums paid, less a $50 cancellation fee. If cancellation is received 29 days or less, no refund will be issued.

If a lodging guest has purchased lift tickets, rentals or Snow Sports products, the ancillary reservations follow their corresponding cancellation policies.

SNOW SPORTS SCHOOL

Powder Mountain relies on reservations to staff accordingly and availability is limited for private and group lessons.  It is imperative that reservation changes are kept to a minimum to accurately staff and to provide the optimal service to lesson participants.

Full refunds will be provided back to the guests’ credit card if the lesson reservation is cancelled at least seven days prior to the lesson reservation minus a cancellation fee per person, per lesson.

Within seven days and 24 hours of the lesson reservation, guests will be issued a resort credit in the value of the lesson minus a cancellation fee per person, per lesson.  The resort credit may be used during the remainder of the season.

Refunds will not be given to guests who do not cancel or change a reservation prior to the day of the lesson.  Guests may rebook at their discretion, however, they will not be issued any resort credit to apply to the new reservation.

Date change fees apply to any product.  Guests who need to change reservation dates will be charged a change fee per person, per lesson.  If the guest is rescheduling and there is a price difference per the new date, the guest is responsible for the price difference.  In the event the price is lower, the guest will be issued resort credit.
