Powder Mountain Resort will be operating within 3 different scenarios, Green, Yellow, and Red, for the 2020/21 winter. This will enable the mountain to provide the safest environment for the guest while recreating on mountain. The transition between scenarios will be dictated by recommendations, policies and/or laws from our national, state, and/or county governments.

No refunds or credits will be issued if the resort is open on the day of your scheduled visit. If the resort is not open due for any reason on the date of your scheduled visit, we will credit the value of your purchase to a future visit. If you are travelling to the resort and you are unable to travel due to government or municipal restrictions, but the resort is open, we will credit your purchase to a future visit.
Yes. Masks will be required to access any indoor space and, depending on the current conditions, there may be limited/metered access to indoor spaces that may create delays in accessing restrooms. Restrooms will have increased sanitization protocols and will be cleaned with increased frequency throughout the day.
Yes. However in a limited capacity. Currenlty, UTA is only allowing 20 guests per vehicles.
Yes, with reduced hours. Tuesday - Saturday / 12pm - 8pm.
Currently there are no events planned that would congregate groups of people together.
Ski patrollers will treat less severe injuries outdoors. Indoors, ski patrollers will have N95 and face shields during any type of treatment.
To provide a safe and healthy environment at Powder Mountain, the resort will be requiring all season pass holders to fill out the waiver online and upload or update their own picture. Passes will be pre-printed and available for pickup on your first visit.

If these steps are not completed, customers will not be issued their season pass.
During normal operations, lift tickets are limited to only 1,500 a day at Powder Mountain Resort. Depending on the operating scenario, Powder Mountain may further reduce the number of tickets available daily. Guests are highly recommended to pre-purchase tickets online to ensure a spot at the most uncrowded ski resort in North America. Powder Mountain Resort will be implementing heightened cleaning protocols for all lodges to provide a safe and healthy environment while in enclosed areas. The food and beverage offerings will change to provide shorter wait times and more grab and go options. Guest will be required to adhere to all resort policies to enter lodges and food service areas. Inside dining space may be limited and guests are encouraged to be prepared to eat outside or base out of their vehicles.
Powder Mountain typicallydoes not have many lift lines due to the capping of season and day passes. Due to the unique situation created by Covid-19, guests may experience lift lines due to queuing and riding protocols implemented by the resort to keep all guests and team members safe. Lift corral areas have been reworked to allow for proper fore/aft and lateral separation between groups. Loading conditions will be dependent on current operating conditions.
Powder Mountain Resort provides shuttle between the lodges, the village, and skiing access. All shuttles will be outfitted with an enclosure for the drivers. Powder Country will operate as a ski and skin and hiking only area during the RED operating plan. SELF SHUTTLING IS NOT PERMITTED AND VIOLATORS WILL LOSE THEIR TICKET OR PASS AND BE BANNED FROM THE RESORT. Self-Shuttling is a serious safety hazard, and we will be actively enforcing this policy and there will be no exceptions to this rule.
Powder Mountain Resort is excited to announce that is has purchased new snowcats outfitted with deck and trailer space. These snowcats are open air and provide more uphill capacity. Mask/face coverings will be required anytime riding these snowcats. Tickets must be purchased in advance online and guests will need to present their virtual ticket at the time of pick up.
The Utah Transit Authority (UTA) plans on servicing Powder Mountain Resort this winter, without any schedule or stop changes. Below you can find all information about the shuttle service and what safety and health measures UTA are taking in response to COVID-19.
Powder Mountain Resort's Snow Sport School will operate with limited capacity to provide a safe and healthy learning experience forguests of all ages and skill levels.

Powder Mountain Resort's Timberline Ski Shop has undergone some renovations to provide a pick-up and drop-off window and exterior rental space. They have also implemented heightened cleaning protocols for all surfaces and rental equipment to provide a safe and healthy environment for the guests.
