The State of Utah has been a leader during these trying times by taking the COVID-19 pandemic seriously and providing all the resources and guidelines necessary to protect our employees and customers while allowing Utah's beloved tourism industry to reopen.
Powder Mountain is closely monitoring government policy changes, OSHA, CDC guidelines and government mandates in order to maintain and make the necessary changes to our protocols and procedures. Our resourceful and forward thinking team has been hard at work creating and implementing new health and safety operating procedures for our guests during winter operations. Powder Mountain is uniquely configured, with most of our parking and lodges located at the top of the mountains, which greatly reduces the social congestion normally experienced at the base of a ski resort. Our expansive terrain, in conjunction with our policy on limiting the number of guests per day, enhances everyone's ability to maintain proper social distancing. Replacing our enclosed snowcats with open-air snowcats is just one of the proactive steps we've taken to help limit exposure.
On this web page you will find important information about Utah, Weber County, and Powder Mountain's health and safety efforts to ensure a comfortable and safe visit while recreating at Powder Mountain.
As we welcome back our guests for winter operations, we ask everyone to become familiar with our Guest Health and Safety Protocol. Since we cannot anticipate every situation, we are asking our guests to take personal responsibility to be informed of and adhere to our base-line COVID-19 preventive measures while enjoying everything Powder Mountain has to offer. Welcome Back!
We are excited for winter operations and the safety of our Team is our top priority. Therefore, we have taken the necessary steps to ensure our Team remains safe while at work.
In our efforts to minimize the risk of COVID-19, we will be increasing our cleaning frequencies, placing hand sanitization stations throughout our facilities, entrances and at high use areas.
Recreating at 9,000ft of elevation, on over 8,400 acres of skiable terrain is most likely the best place to enjoy a winter vacation.
