Are you an excellent skier or snowboarder? Are you interested in advancing your medical skills? Do you enjoy the outdoors and aren’t afraid to work hard? If so, Powder Mountain Patrol could be the place for you.

Openings for Experienced and Entry Level Patrollers 

- Full Time Seasonal

- Part Time Seasonal

- Volunteer Patrol

- Entry Level Patroller

Powder Mountain has a program to train new patrollers. It takes almost a full season to train an entry level patroller. We’ll provide the medical, resort operations, and rescue training. You provide an advanced skiing ability, a great attitude, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in all weather conditions. Our program starts in August with the OEC (Outdoor Emergency Care) Class. 

Qualifications 

- EMT or OEC certification

     - OEC courses start fall 2019

- Professional level CPR/AED certification

     - Courses available through Red Cross

- Level 1 Avalanche Certification (Recommended) 

- Advanced skiing/snowboarding ability

- Strong work ethic

- Great Customer service attitude

- Team Player

- Ability to work in all weather conditions

Patrol Responsibilities

- Terrain opening and closing procedures

- Maintenance of resort boundaries

- Assisting Injured Parties

- Snow Safety/Mitigation
