Women only, all-inclusive, mountain bike retreat weekend hosted by renowned coach Erica Tingey and Women in the Mountains.
The highest quality mountain bike skills instruction is paired with an opportunity to ground your soul, regain your center, and focus on yourself while in a gorgeous environment. Enjoy 2 full days of mountain bike skills training, trail riding, catered cooking provided by awarded Chef Chris Park and inspiring evening events.
Powder Mountain’s trail network is both welcoming and challenging. This curated event is for riders with some mountain biking experience. Skills covered during the weekend include; body positioning for climbing and descending; cornering stance; riding up and down obstacles; wheel lifts and manuals, small drops and jumps.
Both mornings begin with a mobility session and a healthy breakfast with jaw-dropping vistas. The days are filled with women connections, environmentally influence coaching by Erica Tingey and nutritious lunch options. Wrap up each day with an incredible dining experience, followed by mountaintop s’mores and stargazing.
Powder Mountain Getaways offers beautiful condos and townhomes located 4 miles from the heart of the weekend activities, which is included with the event. Room choices are shared, solo and master suite. The shared room will have one other retreat guest and a shared bathroom. Solo rooms share a bathroom. Master Suite has its own bathroom.
Thursday, August 9th:
Welcome reception at 6:00 PM with bike checks and a shared meal. We will be joining in the local event on the mountain, Pizza and Pints for delicious homemade pizza, salad and more at Bower Lodge. (Gluten-free and vegan options available).
Friday, August 10th:
Start the morning with a warm breakfast served with views of the gorgeous Eden Valley. We will get on the bike for skills session followed by a mountaintop lunch.
The afternoon will include a trail ride where we put our skills into practice on the trail. Handcrafted trail snacks and cold drinks will be available along the way.
Take a break at your condo before the most stunning evening meal on top of the mountain with a fire and s’mores served at dark!
Saturday, August 11th:
The morning starts with a mobility/yoga session in the picturesque lodge followed by a warm breakfast. Then skills, mountaintop lunch and trail ride.
The afternoon will conclude at 4:00 PM on the mountaintop with an inspiring speech and gifts for everyone!
