Powder Mountain shredders vote for snow

Powder Mountain was blessed with 6 or so inches on Election Day. Some of the local shredders just couldn't wait for the lifts to start turning and hiked up Drifter to enjoy the snow. The forecast looks promising so keep a watch on the web site for updates.

Spring Session Pictures

A Powder Mountain tradition! This event is the highlight of the freestyle season. It was a party, pipe jam, rail jam, barbeque, and DJ battle rolled into one. Family fun for all ages and abilities.

This year, we had a good turnout with even a band and ski demos weathering the snow coming down. A big thanks to all that attended as well as 4Frnt Skis for coming out!

UllrFest

Powder Mountain loyals joined together November 4th to honor Ullr, Norse God of Ski. The ritual of burning skis and boards is a sacrafice designed to bring lots and lots of snow to the resort. About 11 boards, ten pairs of skis and an odd assortment of winter accessories were sacraficed. Those attending the huge bonfire donated 330 pounds of food to Ogden/Weber Community Action Center. Do you have a ritual to bring on the snow?

Powder Mountain in the Summer

Ever wonder what Powder Mountain is like without all of its world-famous snow? Here are some recent pictures of the mountain during the summer. As you can see, it does not need its snow to be impressive, but the snow is just the frosting on this very large cake.
