Snowcat Powder Safari

The morning starts with a safety orientation followed by a snowcat ride to over 1,000 acres of exclusive bowls, glades and chutes for a day gliding on untracked snow...

The Snowcat Powder Safari is new to the 07/08 season at Powder Mountain. Reservations can be done online to reserve a spot today or after the mountain closes. That's right, after Powder Mountain closes for the season, the Powder Safari will give you the opportunity to continue the ski season as you trek to untouched snow. This will be an experience that you will not soon forget.

This time of year, the Powder Safari turns into the "corn harvest". With the amazing "corn powder" that forms with the temperate weather, the Powder Safari will allow you to have a whole new appreciation of Spring skiing. You haven't truly skied powder until you you've skied "corn powder" on the Powder Safari. Should be a bountiful harvest of fresh Powder Mountain Corn!
