3 on 3 Team Challenge

The second event in Powder Mountain's 3 on 3 Team Challenge Series is scheduled for February 6, 2008. The terrain park competition is held under the lights at the Sundown Terrain Park. Registration starts at 4:00 p.m. and is free for anyone having a lift pass. The competition is from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Chances of winning the series are good for teams wanting to enter for the first time.

Teams of three compete on three terrain park features that are randomly chosen the day of the event. Teams can compete for nightly prizes and earn points based on the team's performance. The team with the most points at the end of the three part series will win 2008/09 season passes. The final competition will be held on Wednesday March 5.

66 competitors in 20 teams competed on a very difficult steel down rail and a 25 foot table-top jump. As always the local talent was amazing. Some competitors had trouble with the menacing approach to the 20’ steel rail, but everyone shined on their jump runs. The first event was cancelled due to weather and was unable to be rescheduled. With only one event left in the series on Wednesday March 5th the door is wide open to win Grand Prize - Three 08/09 season passes.

Special Thanks to APX Alarm, Decade, Atomic Snowboards, Legal Clothing, and Neff for all the prizes and schwag. Nobody went away empty handed.
