UllrFest
Powder Mountain loyals joined together November 4th to honor Ullr, Norse God of Ski. The ritual of burning skis and boards is a sacrafice designed to bring lots and lots of snow to the resort. About 11 boards, ten pairs of skis and an odd assortment of winter accessories were sacraficed. Those attending the huge bonfire donated 330 pounds of food to Ogden/Weber Community Action Center. Do you have a ritual to bring on the snow?

Back home in Washington State it would never snow until we taped a bunch of paper snowflakes in the windows.
